Some time ago, I planned to create a series of pieces inspired by horror movies from the 20s and 30s, especially those of the Hollywood Pre-Code period, not because of the liberties of the time per se, but because, with the arrival of sound and the popularization of the cinema, it became a period of discovery and experimentation which would lay solid foundations for the forthcoming productions. One of the most important movies of this period, and of all time, is Frankenstein....

First, a disclaimer: I don’t play Valorant. Truth be told, I don’t usually play any kind of online game, even less so when it’s a co-op game. The mere fact of having to consider coordination with other people to achieve a common goal, with the stress that includes, makes it sound similar to a job in my mind. At the end of this list, there was the acclaimed Bojack Horseman, which I reluctantly started watching....

This piece is the beginning of a journey in which, until now, I had only given just small steps. For a few weeks I played around with the idea of making a small tribute to last year, and I decided to take one of its best moments as inspiration: sitting beside my wife in front of the waters of Pirihueico lake, in Puerto Fuy. At first, I thought of recreating a scene from one of my favourite games, in some sort of cosplay, where both of us would take the role of one of the characters in a reenactment that would be as faithful as possible to the original....
